Who is Eligible for TREC Services

TREC’s programs are available for environmental and conservation organizations that meet all of the following criteria:

1. Organizations working to protect critical habitat in Alaska, Alberta (Rockies only), Arizona, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming (Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem only) or the Yukon.

2. Organizations with U. S. IRS 501(c)(3), or 501(c)(4) or Canadian 149(l)(f) classification.
3. Organizations that are current program grantees of Wilburforce Foundation, or that have proposals pending on an upcoming Wilburforce docket.

If you are a Wilburforce Foundation grantee or on the docket for their next grantmaking cycle, there are many ways TREC can help your organization perform its best work. In recognizing the value of TREC’s services to its grantees, Wilburforce Foundation has agreed to underwrite the capacity-building services that TREC provides. As a result of this generosity, TREC can offer you increasingly targeted, in-depth services over time.
