TREC Planning and Evaluation Services

Planning Consultation

TREC can help you define your organization’s vision, mission and goals, build your plans—strategic plans, fundraising plans, campaign plans, annual operating plans, and long-term plans— and assist with implementation, evaluation and modification of your plans going forward.

Evaluation Consultation

TREC provides expert assistance in program evaluation. We believe evaluation is a core management function for all nonprofits that can lead to important organizational learning and reflection. The end result: a stronger and healthier organization. By working together as partners, we will help you identify measures of success for your programs and campaigns, collect and analyze data to determine whether you’ve met your expectations, and then use what you have learned to improve your future work.

TREC is skilled in using the language and theory of program evaluation to meet the special needs of the environmental community. We offer the following kinds of services:

  • Benchmarking
  • Interview and focus group facilitation
  • Online data collection
  • Outcomes evaluations
  • Salary surveys and analysis
  • Statistical analysis
  • Survey design, dissemination, and data collection

Research Services

TREC provides two kinds of research services:

  • Individualized research services to conservation groups. TREC can carry out customized surveys for groups that want to learn more about how their members and stakeholders see their programs.
  • Research that increases knowledge of the field. TREC’s research reports provide environmental nonprofits with critical and timely information to enhance their understanding of the sector and to increase their effectiveness.
